Biogram
Dagmara Fundowicz (b. in 1995, Wroclaw) is an abstract and visual artist. Dagmara began her artistic journey at the Experimental Painting Studio in Wrocław in 2022. She is a self-taught artist who currently continues her artistic development by exploring new techniques and expanding her skills. Dagmara has participated in group exhibitions in cities such as Paris, Milan, and Madrid. Her work often draws inspiration from natural processes, such as erosion, reflecting these influences in her art. She lives and creates in Warsaw.
Artist statement
My art is a celebration of organic shapes, textures, and patterns, translated onto canvas with a sense of reverence and wonder. Each piece is like a snapshot of nature’s hidden treasures, as if unearthed after years of being cradled by the earth. I am drawn to the idea of art as a collaboration with nature itself, and my process reflects this belief. I often incorporate organic materials into my work, allowing them to interact with the canvas in unpredictable ways. This symbiotic relationship between art and nature infuses each piece with a sense of vitality and authenticity.
